Cesc Fabregas looks to be in good spirits as he prepares to fight for his place in the Chelsea team next season.

The 30-year-old Spain international is preparing for his second season under new manager Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge and will be hoping to hold down a more regular starting spot in the first team next term.

Fabregas returned to training with the rest of his team-mates on Monday as Conte’s men began their preparations for the new campaign under the Italian manager.

Willian was also among the players to report back to Cobham as Chelsea kicked off their pre-season training schedule.

And the duo looked to be in particularly good spirits as they posed for a picture together at Cobham this week.

Chelsea are looking to defend the Premier League title after winning the top-flight trophy in Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club last season.

The Blues are also gearing up for a return to the Champions League next season after they missed out on a spot in Europe’s elite club competition last term.
