Chelsea are still on the hunt to sign Danilo from Real Madrid this summer despite the heavy speculation linking the Brazilian to Manchester City, according to Kaveh Solhekol.

The Blues are thought to be on the lookout for further reinforcements at right-back as Antonio Conte prepares for his second season in charge at the west London club.

Danilo has been heavily linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer as he is keen to hold down a regular role ahead of next year’s World Cup in Russia.

However, Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has revealed that Chelsea are still keen on trying to lure the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Speaking on Sky Sports News on Friday morning, Solhekol said: “As far as Danilo is concerned, City want him and Chelsea want him too.

“€30m is the price. He’s second choice at Real Madrid at the moment. He wants regular first-team football before the World Cup next summer.”

Chelsea are looking for reinforcements as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.

The Blues will also be hoping to defend their Premier League title after winning the top flight in Conte’s first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
