Chelsea could make teenager their fifth summer signing – report
Chelsea are keeping tabs on Karamoko Dembele with a view to making a summer swoop for the 14-year-old, say reports
Chelsea are planning a summer transfer move to try and sign 14-year-old Karamoko Dembele from Celtic, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the teenager is back on Chelsea’s radar and that the Blues have already made steps to try and sign the winger this summer.
The same story claims that Dembele is seen as one of the brightest young talents in Europe and Chelsea are keen to wrap up a deal for the youngster.
Dembele is said to have caught the eye of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and the Blues are now doing what they can to try and bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The same report says that the fact that Dembele only signed a new Celtic contract in June has not put Chelsea off in their chase for this signature.
The Blues are currently looking for their fifth signing of the summer, after having tied up deals for Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata ahead of next season.
Conte is preparing his team for a return to the Champions League next term after his side’s Premier League title triumph last season.
