The France international is looking to win the Premier League title for the third successive season after an impressive debut campaign at Chelsea.
Kante won the PFA player of the year in April after the defensive midfielder helped to transform the Blues into title winner in Conte’s first season.
The Chelsea boss signed Kante’s compatriot Tiemoue Bakayoko in a £40m deal from Ligue 1 champions AS Monaco to bolster his midfield options.
The English champions have also added Manchester City reserve goalkeeper Willy Caballero, AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
Speaking about Chelsea’s pre-season regime under Conte ahead of the new season, Kante revealed that the Italian coach is working his players hard.
“We are just at the beginning. It’s quite hard work, we’re running a lot,” Kante told the club’s website.
“We need this for the season. To make sure we start the season at our best.”
Kante moved to Chelsea in a £30m deal from Leicester City last summer after helping the Foxes to win the title under Claudio Ranieri.
The west London side lost 2-1 to bitter rivals Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley in their final game of the 2016-17 season.
