Chelsea have turned their attentions towards signing Sergio Aguero from Manchester City this summer, according to reports.

The Sun is quoting AS newspaper journalist Manu Sainz as claiming that Chelsea are keen to sign the 29-year-old Argentina star as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.

Chelsea are thought to be on the lookout for a new striker this summer, with Diego Costa’s future at Stamford Bridge remaining unclear.

The Blues were linked with a bid to sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton this summer but a move failed to materialise before the Belgian forward ended up signing for Manchester United last week.

Aguero is widely regarded as one of the top strikers in the Premier League and it remains to be seen whether Manchester City would really consider letting him leave the club this summer, especially to join a title rival.

Chelsea completed their third signing of the summer on Saturday when they tied up a deal to land Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco, following the arrivals of Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero.
