Chelsea have revived their interest in signing Fernando Llorente as a back-up striker for next season, according to reports in the British media.
The Times is reporting that the west London club are prepared to make a move for the Spaniard as Antonio Conte looks to bolster his attacking options at Stamford Bridge.
The same story claims that Chelsea tried to sign Llorente in January but a move was blocked by Swansea.
The 32-year-old is currently recovering after breaking an arm on holiday but should be fit for the start of the season, according to the same story.
Chelsea are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Conte prepares for his second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
The same story claims that Swansea will resist Chelsea’s interest in the player but Conte is determined to add more attacking depth to his squad.
Conte is looking to bolster his squad as he prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season after their Premier League title triumph last term.
