Chelsea will have to pay £60m to sign Brazil and Juventus defender Alex Sandro, according to Dharmesh Sheth.

The Premier League champions endured a slow start to the summer transfer window after missing out on a deal to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.

However, Chelsea have moved quickly to add four new players to their squad over the past couple of weeks.

The Blues have signed Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero, AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger, Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

Chelsea are still in the market to sign four new players in the summer transfer window as Antonio Conte looks to prepare his squad for the new season.

But the English title winners are still looking to add more depth at wing-back and Sando has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

However, Chelsea have been unable to agree a transfer fee with Champions League runners-up Juventus.

Sky Sports News reporter Sheth is reporting that Chelsea will have to cough up £60m to sign the Brazil international this summer.

“Chelsea do remain interested in the Juventus left-back Alex Sandro but the Brazilian started for Juve in their 3-2 victory over PSG,” Sheth told Sky Sports News on Thursday morning.

“It’s thought a bid of £60m would be required if Chelsea are to have any chance of signing Sandro.”
