Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports
Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a £60m deal, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Blues have been offered the opportunity to land the Gabon international from Borussia Dortmund by “intermediaries”.
The same story claims that Chinese side Tianjin Quanjin are ready to pull out of the race to sign the 28-year-old this summer but that AC Milan are still keen to land the attacker.
Aubameyang finished as the Bundesliga’s top scorer last season and has been heavily linked with a move away from Dortmund in recent weeks.
He scored 31 goals in all competitions but looks set to leave the Bundesliga club this summer.
Chelsea are thought to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements this summer after Antonio Conte reportedly informed Diego Costa that he is not part of his plans for next season.
The west London side are preparing to defend their Premier League title and make their mark on the Champions League next season after Conte’s impressive first campaign in charge at Stamford Bridge.
