Chelsea want to sign Sergio Aguero from Manchester City this summer, according to reports in the British media.

Sky Sports is reporting that the Blues are interested in bringing the 29-year-old Manchester City striker to Stamford Bridge this summer as the Blues search for attacking reinforcements.

The same report claims that Chelsea are on the lookout for a new striker after Diego Costa was told that he is not part of the club’s plans for next season.

The story claims that after missing out on Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea have now turned their attentions towards signing Alvaro Morata, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Andrea Belotti and Aguero.

However, despite Chelsea’s apparent interest, the same article claims that it will be very difficult for the Blues to tie up a deal for Aguero because Manchester City do not want to let him leave this summer.

Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new players this summer as they prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.

The Blues finished top of the table last term as they won the Premier League title in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge at the club.
