Insider claims Chelsea won’t get £60m for 28-year-old striker
Chelsea are hoping to receive £60m for Diego Costa but Atletico Madrid won't meet their valuation, according to Kaveh Solhekol

Atletico Madrid aren’t willing to meet Chelsea’s £60m valuation for striker Diego Costa, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Sky Sports News reporter has taken to Twitter to shed light on Costa’s current situation in the summer transfer market.
The focus has been on Chelsea’s pursuit of Everton star Romelu Lukaku so far this summer, but the English champions still need to offload Costa.
Indeed, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte informed the Spain international that he was surplus to requirements via text despite winning the Premier League title last season.
The controversial striker is thought to be holding out for a return to Atletico Madrid after Costa moved to Chelsea in a £32m deal from los Rojiblancos in 2014.
However, Chelsea’s valuation stands at £60m despite Atletico Madrid reportedly considering an offer of £22m for the Brazil-born forward.
Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol highlighted that both Atletico and Chelsea are some way apart in any potential deal for the 28-year-old.
Solhekol wrote on Twitter: “Told Diego Costa is a Chelsea player “as things stand”. Atletico Madrid refusing to pay anywhere near what Chelsea think he is worth – £60m”
Costa has won two Premier League titles and the EFL Cup during a three-season stay at Stamford Bridge.
