The Reds have been heavily touted with a move to sign the 22-year-old Guinea international in recent weeks as Klopp looks to strengthen his team ahead of next season.
The latest reports have suggested that Liverpool have had a bid of around £66m rejected by the Bundesliga club as they look to try and land the midfielder.
However, the Reds boss was giving little away when quizzed about the speculation linking the Reds with a move for the midfielder this summer.
“What do you know? £66m turned down today?” Klopp told Sky Sports when asked about Keita after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
“Are we in Vegas? I told you I don’t speak about this.
“Not Vegas, what is it on the other side of the island in Asia? Yes, Macau. Are we in Macau? No.
“I never say anything about anybody until they have actually signed or left. When that’s happened I’ll tell you immediately.”
Liverpool are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after the Reds finished fourth in the Premier League last term.
Klopp will also be hoping to steer his side towards a Premier League title challenge as they prepare for their next campaign under the German manager.
