Liverpool are lining up a bid of more than £70m for Naby Keita as Jurgen Klopp looks to make him their fourth summer signing, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Reds are ready to make a “final push” to try and sign the 22-year-old midfielder from RB Leipzig as Klopp looks to bolster his squad ahead of their return to the Champions League next season.

The same story says that the Reds have not yet given up hope of landing the Guinea international despite having failed with their initial attempts to bring him to Anfield.

The article says that Klopp has told Liverpool to try and make one more push to sign Keita – and that could mean a bid of more than £70m in the next few days.

The same report claims that Liverpool are likely to switch their attentions towards Leon Goretzka of Schalke if they fail to land Keita this summer.

Liverpool are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new reinforcements this summer as the Reds prepare for a return to the Champions League next season.
