Dominic Solanke says he is ready for the challenge of making his mark at Liverpool.

The English forward has signed a long-term deal with the Merseyside outfit after Liverpool signed the promising striker from Premier League champions Chelsea.

The Reds confirmed that a deal has been reached with Solanke last month but the teenager was officially unveiled as a Liverpool player on Monday evening.

Solanke has experienced a big summer in his career after the Liverpool signing finished as the Under-20 World Cup golden ball winner to emulate the likes of Lionel Messi and Sergio Augero.

Indeed, the Liverpool signing netted four times to help England win the competition before his move to Anfield was confirmed.

Solanke struggled to make the breakthrough at the current Premier League champions and the attacker has spent time on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.

And the new Liverpool star posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Honoured and blessed to have signed for @liverpoolfc. Looking forward to playing in front of those incredible supporters. Plenty of hard work ahead but can’t wait for the challenge 🔴🔴🔴”

Liverpool have also signed AS Roma and Egypt winger Mohamed Salah in a £36.7m deal last month.
