Philippe Coutinho’s camp believe there is a “70 per cent” chance the Liverpool midfielder could move to Barcelona this summer, according to reports in England.

The Independent is reporting that the Liverpool midfielder could move to the La Liga giants this summer should Neymar swap Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain.

The same article states there is a feeling the Reds could “buckle” under the pressure of interest from the Spanish club despite their reluctance to sell.

Jurgen Klopp has already poured cold water on talk of Liverpool selling Coutinho to the Catalan side in the summer transfer window.

The Liverpool No10 played a key role in helping Klopp’s side to finish in the Premier League’s top four last season after scoring seven times in their final 10 games.

Coutinho is currently preparing to compete in the Champions League for only the second time since his £8.5m switch to Liverpool in the 2013 January transfer window.

Liverpool have signed three players in the summer transfer window as Klopp prepares for the strain of competing in four competitions this term.

The Reds signed Mohamed Salah in a £39m deal from Serie A side AS Roma before completing deals for Chelsea teenager Dominic Solanke and Hull City defender Andy Robertson.
