Jose Mourinho has admitted that he has “no idea” if Manchester United will end up signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a bid to sign the 28-year-old winger from Inter Milan this summer but a deal is yet to be confirmed.

Manchester United were widely reported to be closing in on the signing of the Croatian this week as Mourinho looks to add some more firepower to his squad ahead of his second campaign in charge at the club.

However, the Red Devils boss was giving nothing away when asked about the speculation linking the Red Devils with a bid to sign the 28-year-old winger.

When he was asked about Perisic, Mourinho replied: “No idea, no idea, my friend.”

Manchester United confirmed their second signing of the summer last week when they tied up a deal to land striker Romelu Lukaku from Everton.

The Red Devils have also signed defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica as Mourinho prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
