Man United to reignite bid to make top 28-year-old their third signing – report
Manchester United are set to reignite their interest in signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, say reports
Manchester United are set to reignite their interest in signing Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan after failing in their pursuit of Gareth Bale, according to reports.
The Independent is claiming that the Red Devils are set to turn back to trying to sign the 28-year-old from Inter after having switched their focused to Real Madrid star Bale.
However, the same article claims that the move could now be complicated, because the Red Devils were close to agreeing a deal for Perisic before they were informed that Bale could be a realistic target this summer.
The same story claims that Manchester United were just a few million pounds away from agreeing a deal with Inter Milan for the winger and will now have to re-enter negotiations.
The Italian club are said to want £48m for Perisic this summer as Jose Mourinho searches for his third signing of the summer transfer window.
Manchester United have signed defender Victor Lindelof and striker Romelu Lukaku so far this summer as Mourinho prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
