There is a possibility Manchester United could sign Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich this summer, according to Carlo Ancelotti.

The 19-year-old’s future has been a source of speculation in recent weeks amid reports that he could be set to leave Bayern Munich this summer.

The Portugal international has been touted as a possible target for Manchester United this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares to try to add some more players to his squad ahead of next season.

Now, Bayern Munich boss Ancelotti has conceded that Sanches could be on his way out of the German club this summer, but also refused to rule out the possibility of him staying at the club.

Ancelotti is quoted as saying by the Independent when asked if Sanches could move to Old Trafford: “At this time, he’s training with us. We have to make a decision.

“A move could be a possibility but there is also a chance he could stay with us for the season.”

Manchester United are thought to be on the lookout for a number of other new signings this summer despite having already wrapped up deals for both Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku.

The Red Devils will return to the Champions League next season after winning the Europa League last term.
