Victor Lindelof poses for a photo with Manchester United trio Eric Bailly, Marouane Fellaini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Victor Lindelof was in good spirits with Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as Manchester United jetted off to Los Angeles on Sunday.
The Sweden international put pen to paper on a long-term deal with the Red Devils last month after Manchester United settled on a £30.7m transfer fee with Portuguese champions Benfica.
Lindelof will be tasked with forging a promising centre-half partnership with Bailly in the 2017-18 Premier League campaign after Manchester United’s defensive crisis last term.
The 22-year-old has earned a reputation as an exciting defensive prospect thanks to a decorated four-season spell at Benfica.
However, Lindelof looks to be comfortable with his new team-mates after Mkhitaryan posted the above photo on his Instagram ahead of their long flight to California.
Mkhitaryan wrote the following caption: “Ready for our pre-season tour👊🏼 Heading off to LA✈️🇺🇸 #usa #mufc #mutour”
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table in their first season under Jose Mourinho.
However, the Portuguese coach led the Red Devils to EFL Cup and Europa League glory to add more silverware to the club’s trophy cabinet.
Manchester United will return to the Champions League next season after a 2-0 win against Dutch giants Ajax in the Europa League final.
