Victor Lindelof is working hard to impress Jose Mourinho ahead of his potential Manchester United debut this weekend.

The Sweden international could be included in the Manchester United starting line-up to face Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy in California this weekend.

Lindelof was the first of Manchester United’s summer signings after the centre-half completed a £30.7m move to Old Trafford from Portuguese champions Benfica.

The 22-year-old will be tasked with competing for a first-team spot against Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo at Manchester United next term.

And Lindelof took to social media to inform the club’s supporters that he is working very hard on leaving his mark in pre-season training ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Lindelof posted the above photo on his Instagram page and wrote the following caption:

“Ready for another day of hard work here in LA🇺🇸 @manchesterunited”

Manchester United also signed Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window after hijacking Chelsea’s deal to re-sign the 24-year-old striker.

Lukaku became the second most-expensive signing in Manchester United’s history behind his new team-mate Paul Pogba after the France star returned to Old Trafford in an £89m transfer last summer.
