The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a bid to bring the 28-year-old midfielder to Old Trafford in recent weeks as the Serbian’s midfielder continues to be a source of speculation.
Both Manchester United and Juventus have been touted as possible destinations for the midfielder, whose future has become even more uncertain following the arrival of midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco.
However, according to Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol, Juventus are much more keen to sign Matic this summer than the Red Devils.
Solhekol tweeted on Friday night: “Could be wrong but told Juventus much more interested in Nemanja Matic than Manchester United.”
Manchester United are thought to be on the lookout for a new holding midfielder this summer as Jose Mourinho prepares for his second season in charge at the club.
The Red Devils, who finished sixth last term, have so far brought in defender Victor Lindelof and striker Romelu Lukaku as they gear up for a return to the Champions League next season.
