Manchester United is the only club on Gareth Bale’s radar if the attacker decides to leave Real Madrid this summer, according to reports.

The Independent is reporting that Manchester United made contact with Real Madrid earlier this summer over the possibility of signing the Wales international after a mixed 2016-17 season for the winger.

The same article is stating that Bale is keen to remain at The Bernabeu for another season after enduring an injury-hit campaign under Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane.

However, according to the same story, the 28-year-old would only consider a move to Manchester United if the experienced forward decides to leave the Spanish capital this summer.

Bale was linked with the Red Devils in 2013 before the forward decided to move to Real Madrid in a then world-record £85m deal from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Wales international has won two Champions League titles, La Liga and the Copa del Rey during a four-season stay at los Blancos so far.

Bale has scored 67 times in 150 games since his move to the Spanish giants in 2013.
