Insider delivers latest update on Man United’s bid to sign top 28-year-old
Inter Milan are still holding out for at least £48m for Ivan Perisic as he continues to be linked with Manchester United, says Kaveh Solhekol
Manchester United are still on the hunt for the signature of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer but the Italian club are holding firm in their valuation of the player, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move to bring the 28-year-old Croatia international to Old Trafford for most of the summer as Jose Mourinho looks to further bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.
However, Manchester United have not yet been able to agree a fee with Inter Milan for the winger this summer and it remains to be seen whether a deal can be struck.
And Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has revealed that Inter are still demanding at least £48m for the winger.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on Friday morning, Solhekol said: “What about Ivan Perisic? We’ve been hearing so much about this one.
“Inter are still demanding £48m for the Croatian winger. But could a deal be getting a little bit closer?”
Manchester United have made two signings so far this summer ahead of Mourinho’s second season in charge at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have brought in Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof but Mourinho has made it public that he was hoping to bring in a total of at least four players ahead of his second campaign at the club.
