Man United to consider signing exciting 19-year-old in loan move – report
Manchester United are weighing up a move to sign Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich in a loan deal this summer, according to reports
Manchester United are considering the possibility of signing Bayern Munich teenager Renato Sanches on loan, according to reports in the English media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils are in pole position to sign the Portugal international in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are preparing to user Sanches towards the exit door at the Allianz Arena this summer.
According to the same story, Jose Mourinho is a big admirer of Sanches even though the defensive midfielder opted to move to Bayern Munich ahead of Manchester United last summer.
However, the teenager struggled to make an impression at the German club after manager Carlo Ancelotti handed Sanchez six starts and 11 appearances from the bench in their title-winning campaign.
The Red Devils are in the market to sign a holding midfielder this summer but have been left frustrated in their pursuit of Chelsea star Nemanja Matic and Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier.
Manchester United signed Benfica defender Victor Lindelof and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window so far.
