Romelu Lukaku is poised to sign for Manchester United and has already agreed a £250,000-a-week contract with the Red Devils, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Star is reporting that the Belgian forward has settled on personal terms with the Red Devils and is now closing in on a move to Old Trafford.

The same report states that Manchester United are expected to confirm the deal to sign Lukaku in the next 24 hours and that their pursuit of Lukaku is set to lead to them dropping their interest in Alvaro Morata.

The article also states that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will be frustrated by the Blues’ apparent failure to bring Lukaku back to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Manchester United are set to jet off to the United States for their pre-season tour on Sunday, although both Lukaku and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba are already in LA, having been unwinding there on holiday.

Manchester United are preparing for a return to the Champions League next season after the Jose Mourinho led the Red Devils to Europa League glory last term.
