Alexis Sanchez left Arsenal’s players in no doubt that he wants to leave the club this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the 28-year-old made it clear to his team-mates that he is keen to leave the club this summer after he returned to training on Tuesday.

Sanchez’s situation has been a relentless source of speculation this summer after he entered into the final 12 months of his contract at The Emirates.

It remains to be seen how Sanchez’s situation will play out, but the Chilean has been heavily linked with both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks.

The same article claims that it was clear to Sanchez’s Arsenal team-mates that he wants to leave the north London side this summer.

The story also says that Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are the clubs leading the chase for Sanchez’s signature this summer, but Arsenal could still decide not to sell the forward.

The Gunners missed out on a place in the Champions League for next season after they finished fifth in the Premier League table last term.
