Arsenal signing makes confident vow to Gunners fans
Alexandre Lacazette promises that he will score plenty of goals in his first season at Arsenal

Alexandre Lacazette has promised Arsenal fans that he will score plenty of goals in his first season at the north London club.
The 26-year-old became the Gunners’ second signing of the summer back in July when he joined Arsenal from Lyon in a club-record deal.
Lacazette scored just minutes into his Premier League debut, when he fired home the opener in Arsenal’s 4-3 win over Leicester City in their first top-flight game of the season.
The striker will be hoping to help Arsenal mount a serious title challenge this season, after the Gunners ended up in a disappointing fifth place last term and missed out on Champions League qualification.
And Lacazette is confident that he will be able to help Arsenal score more goals following his move from Ligue 1.
Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports before Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool on Sunday, Lacazette said: “I’m going to score goals at key times in the games where the team may have struggled in previous years.
“This season I’m going to help this team win them and that’s what Arsenal have to do: win games and trophies.”
Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph back in the 2003-04 campaign.
The Gunners have signed one other player so far this summer, after having tied up a deal to bring Sead Kolasinac to The Emriates from Schalke on a free transfer back in May.
