Jamie Redknapp believes that both Arsenal and Manchester United are among the favourites to win the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners will be desperately hoping to bounce back to form in the top flight after the disappointment of their fifth-placed finish last term.

Arsene Wenger’s side have not won the title since their famous unbeaten triumph back in 2003-04 and the Gunners have brought in Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac so far this summer.

Manchester United, meanwhile, will also be aiming to launch a genuine Premier League title challenge this season.

The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the table last term after struggling to find consistent form under Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has strengthened his squad with the signings of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic this summer.

And Redknapp believes that both Arsenal and Manchester United are among the favourites to win the Premier League title this season.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Sports, Redknapp said: “I don’t think there should be any difference between Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool – anyone can win it and I don’t think there’s an outstanding favourite.”

Arsenal kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Leicester City on Friday night, while Manchester United are preparing to welcome West Ham United to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in their season curtain raiser.
