Thierry Henry makes claim about Alexis Sanchez after Arsenal thrashing
Thierry Henry claims that Alexis Sanchez doesn't look like he wants to stay at Arsenal after their loss to Liverpool

Thierry Henry has claimed that Alexis Sanchez did not look like he wants to stay at Arsenal following the Gunners’ 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool on Sunday.
Sanchez started his first Premier League game of the season for the north London side at Anfield but was powerless to prevent the Gunners from slipping to their second defeat of the new campaign.
The 28-year-old’s future has been a relentless source of speculation all through the summer, with Sanchez having been heavily linked with a move away from The Emirates.
Sanchez has less than 12 months left on his current Arsenal contract and it remains to be seen whether the Chile star will commit his future to the club.
However, Henry has claimed that it seems clear to him that Sanchez does not look like a player who wants to stay at The Emirates.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Henry said: “Those guys are going away on international duty now so we will see what happens.
“If you’re Sanchez, he didn’t look like he wanted to stay [today].”
Arsenal’s players will now have to dust themselves down as they turn their attentions towards trying to return to winning ways when they take on Bournemouth at The Emirates after the international break on Saturday 9 September.
The north London side have not won the title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
