Arsenal line up move to sign Real Madrid attacker before deadline – report
Arsenal are preparing a late transfer bid to try and sign Marco Asensio from Real Madrid before the transfer window closes, say reports

Arsenal are preparing a late transfer bid to try to sign Marco Asensio from Real Madrid, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is claiming that the Gunners are ready to try to make a late move to bring the 21-year-old attacking midfielder to The Emirates this summer.
The same report says that Real Madrid want to tie Asensio down to a new contract but the midfielder wants more regular playing time.
The article also claims that Asensio has a £75m release clause in his contract with the Spanish giants.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners would be able to force through a move for the youngster before Thursday night’s transfer deadline.
The proposed move would represent a significant transfer coup for the north London side should they be able to secure a deal before Thursday night.
Arsenal have been linked with a host of players this summer but have only brought in Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac so far.
The Gunners are thought to still be on the lookout for more reinforcements, although it is not clear whether they will be able to bring in any new players before the deadline.
