Arsenal offer top attacker contract worth £300,000 a week – report
Arsenal have offered Alexis Sanchez a new contract worth £300,000 a week, according to reports
Arsenal have offered Alexis Sanchez a new contract worth £300,000 a week, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is claiming that the Gunners have tabled a fresh offer to try and convince the Chile international, 28, to sign a new deal and commit his future to the club.
The same report claims that the north London side’s previous offer was worth around £275,000 a week.
The story says that Sanchez has made it clear that he would only consider an offer of more than £300,000 a week and it still remains to be seen whether he is interested in signing a new deal with the north London side.
The article credits both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain with an interest in signing the forward, but Arsene Wenger is said to be increasingly confident that Sanchez will stay at the club.
Wenger is said to be determined to keep hold of Sanchez beyond the summer transfer window, even if it means losing him on a free next summer, when his current deal is due to expire.
Arsenal have signed two players so far this summer as they prepare to try and challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners have brought in both Sead Kolasinac and Alexandre Lacazette.
