Arsenal line up fourth bid to sign top 21-year-old – report
Arsenal are lining up a potential fourth bid to sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco, according to reports
Arsenal are considering making a fourth bid to try and sign Thomas Lemar from Monaco this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the north London side are keen to try and line up another attempt to bring the 21-year-old France international to The Emirates from the French club.
The same report claims that Lemar is still Arsenal’s “number one” priority in the summer transfer window as Arsene Wenger looks to further bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The story, however, also suggests that Arsenal are considering a move to sign Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri – but later in the summer.
Arsenal have been linked with a host of players so far this summer, but the Gunners have only been able to conclude deals to land Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac so far.
The north London side will be hoping to significantly improve their Premier League form next season after the Gunners finished fifth in the table last term.
That means that Wenger’s men will have to settle for Europa League football next term after missing out on Champions League qualification.
