Alexis Sanchez will be worried about Arsenal’s defending, Robbie Savage says.

The Gunners were without the Chile international for their Premier League opener last week as Arsenal hosted Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night.

Alexandre Lacazette scored in the second minute before Shinji Okazaki and Jamie Vardy netted in quick succession to overturn the scoreline.

Arsenal levelled on the stroke of half-time through Danny Welbeck before Vardy restored the away side’s lead in north London.

However, Arsene Wenger’s substitutes Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud scored late goals to wrap up three points for the hosts in their Premier League opener.

Sanchez was watching in the stands at the Emirates Stadium as Arsenal came out on top in the seven-goal thriller.

The Chile star also missed Arsenal’s 1-0 loss to Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on Sunday following Jese Rodridugez’s first goal in English football.

Former Leicester and Manchester United midfielder Savage believes Sanchez will be concerned about Arsenal’s defending.

“You can’t defend. Alexis Sanchez must be watching that thinking ‘Oh dear me’,” Savage told BBC Radio 5 Live.

Sanchez moved to Arsenal in a £35m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in the 2014 summer transfer window.
