Eden Hazard has wished Neymar good luck after the Brazilian completed his world-record transfer to PSG
Eden Hazard has taken to social media to wish his “friend” Neymar all the best after the Brazilian completed his world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona.
The attacker became the most expensive player in football history last week when he joined the Ligue 1 side in a £198m deal.
Neymar is thought to be set to earn around £782,000 a week in wages with the French club after opting to quit Barcelona and move to the Ligue 1 outfit.
Hazard has clearly been keeping a close eye on goings on in the transfer market this summer and the 26-year-old Chelsea playmaker was quick to wish Neymar all the best after his move was confirmed, tipping him to win the French player of the year crown while with PSG.
Hazard posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Wishing my friend @neymarjr well in France. This will be your next trophy! #friends #ligue1 #france.”
Chelsea are currently preparing for their Community Shield clash against Arsenal at Wembley on Sunday as they look to kick off the season by winning a trophy.
The west London club won the Premier League in Antonio Conte’s first season in charge at Stamford Bridge last term.
