Garth Crooks predicts where Chelsea, Man United will finish this season
Garth Crooks doesn't expect Chelsea to challenge Man City or Man United for the Premier League title this season

Garth Crooks has warned Chelsea that their best bet at winning silverware this season is lifting the FA Cup as Manchester United are “obsessed” with clinching the Premier League.
The Premier League champions were 2-0 winners against Everton on Sunday afternoon thanks to goals from Cesc Fabregas and Alvaro Morata at Stamford Bridge.
The title holders made a worrying start to the season after Chelsea lost to Arsenal on penalties in the Community Shield at Wembley earlier this month.
The Blues lost 3-2 to Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their opening Premier League fixture to raise concerns about Chelsea’s lack of squad depth.
However, Antonio Conte’s side bounced back with a 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley thanks to Marcos Alonso’s goals either side of half-time.
Chelsea are already three points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United, while Liverpool and Manchester City are both a point ahead of the defending champions.
Former Spurs forward Crooks believes Chelsea are unlikely to challenge the Manchester clubs for the Premier League title this season.
“With both Manchester clubs obsessed with the Premier League title I can see Chelsea winning the FA Cup,” Crooks told BBC Sport.
“They are very capable of winning that but I can’t see Fabregas, or Conte for that matter, winning anything else, even with the Spaniard in this mood.”
Chelsea have signed Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero, AS Roma defender Antonio Rudiger, Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in the summer transfer window.
The Blues won the Premier League title last season after finish seven points clear of their closest title challengers Tottenham.
