Chelsea’s next three transfer targets revealed – report
Antonio Conte wants Chelsea to complete the signing of three top players in the next few weeks, say reports
Chelsea are set to use the money generated from the sale of Nemanja Matic to Manchester United to fund bids for their next three transfer targets, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is claiming that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is set to step up his pursuit of his three main targets as he prepares his team for next season.
The same story claims that the sale of Matic will be used to provide the firepower needed to complete deals for Inter Milan midfielder Antonio Candreva, Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and Southampton centre-half Virgil van Dijk.
Should Chelsea complete deals for all three players, that would mean they have made a total of seven signings this summer ahead of their Premier League title defence next season.
The west London side have already signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata so far this summer as Conte prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next term.
Chelsea won the Premier League title in Conte’s first campaign at the club but missed out on the FA Cup when they were beaten by Arsenal in the final back in May.
