Juventus have rejected a £53m bid for Alex Sandro from Juventus, according to reports in Italy.
Italian website Transfer Market Web, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Blues have had a big-money bid turned down by the Italian champions for the Brazilian.
The same report states that Juve have no intention of letting Sandro leave the club this summer.
Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move to sign Sandro throughout the summer but it seems that the west London side are going to face a tough time in trying to convince Juventus to sell the player.
The Blues have been one of the busier clubs in the summer transfer window, with the west London side having brought in Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.
However, the English champions continue to be linked with a number of other players as Antonio Conte prepares for his second season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are getting ready to take on Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
