Four of Chelsea’s remaining transfer targets revealed by report
Chelsea are still on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer, according to reports
Chelsea are being linked with four potential transfer deals before deadline day at the end of the month by reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is claiming that the Blues are still pursuing moves for Danny Drinkwater, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Virgil van Dijk and Alex Sandro.
The story claims that the west London side have already had an initial bid for Drinkwater turned down by Leicester, and that the Foxes want a fee in the region of £40m for the midfielder.
The article also states that Chelsea are after Arsenal midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose future has been a source of speculation after he entered into the final year of his contract at The Emirates.
It is also claimed in the same report that Southampton defender Van Dijk and Juventus full-back Sandro remain as targets for the west London club.
Antonio Conte is thought to be keen to further bolster his squad this summer despite having already brought in four new players so far.
The Blues have signed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata so far this summer as Conte’s second season in charge gets under way.
Chelsea are preparing to take on Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley in their next Premier League game on Sunday.
