Chelsea still want to sign Virgil van Dijk, Alex Sandro and Antonio Candreva this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mail is claiming that the west London side are still keen on the trio this summer but it remains to be seen whether they will be successful in securing deals for them.

Chelsea are believed to be on the lookout for a number of new signings before the close of the transfer window at the end of the month, with the Blues having only brought in four new faces so far this summer.

The same article says that the west London club have been frustrated in their summer transfer dealing, but moves for Van Dijk, Sandro and Candreva remain on the cards.

Chelsea have brought in four new players this summer – Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata – but the west London side are still on the hunt for more additions.

The article states that Van Dijk, Sandro and Candreva are three of their remaining targets this summer as Antonio Conte prepares for his second season at the club.

The story also claims that Chelsea’s biggest blow in the summer transfer window was their failure to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the club, with the Belgian having signed for Manchester United back in July.
