Chelsea are hoping to sign Antonio Candreva from Inter Milan in a £25m deal this summer, say reports
Chelsea are hoping to sign Antonio Candreva from Inter Milan in a £25m deal before next week’s transfer deadline, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Blues are hoping to conclude a deal for the 30-year-old Italy international before the transfer window closes next Thursday.
The same report states that Chelsea have recently held talks with Inter Milan about the possibility of signing winger Candreva this summer.
It is claimed in the same story that Chelsea boss Conte is keen to push through deals as quickly as possible now, with the transfer deadline looming large.
And the story says that Candreva has been told by Inter Milan that he can leave the San Siro in a £25m deal before next Thursday’s cut-off point.
Chelsea have been linked with a host of players this summer but have so far only tied up deals for Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.
The west London side picked up their first Premier League points of the season on Sunday when they claimed a 2-1 win over Tottenham at Wembley.
Conte is now preparing his side for their Premier League clash against Everton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
