Report reveals five of Chelsea’s top remaining summer transfer targets
Chelsea are keen to sign up to four new players before the close of the summer transfer window, according to reports
Chelsea are still keen to sign a number of new players this summer ahead of the close of the transfer window at the end of the month, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard is claiming that the Blues want at least four new additions to their squad this summer as Antonio Conte prepares for his second season at the helm at Stamford Bridge.
The story also says that Ross Barkley, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Renato Sanches, Fernando Llorente and Alex Sandro are among the names on Conte’s transfer wish-list this summer, as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of the new campaign.
According to the same article, Conte wants to sign another midfielder, at least one wing-back, an attacking midfielder and another forward.
Chelsea have been relatively busy so far this summer, after having tied up deals to sign Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata until now.
But the west London side are still hoping to bring in further reinforcements, with Chelsea set to battle for the Champions League title as well as the Premier League this term.
Chelsea are currently preparing for their Premier League opener against Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon as they kick off their title defence.
