Chelsea are ready to make a move to sign Djibril Sidibe from Monaco this summer, according to reports in Italy.
Italian website Transfermarketweb, as quoted by the Sun, is claiming that the Premier League champions are keen on luring full-back Sidibe to Stamford Bridge after Tiemoue Bakayoko joined the Blues from the French champions earlier this summer.
The same story says that Antonio Conte is keen to bolster his options at full-back and the 25-year-old Sidibe has emerged as a potential target.
However, the article also claims that he is under contract until June 2022 and that he reportedly turned down a transfer to Arsenal last summer.
Chelsea have been relatively active in the summer transfer window so far, having brought in Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.
However, Chelsea boss Conte has made it clear with his comments in recent days that he wants to further bolster his squad ahead of his second campaign at the club.
Chelsea are currently preparing for their Premier League opener on Saturday afternoon when they host Burnley at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side are also gearing up for a return to the Champions League after their title triumph last term.
