Henrikh Mkhitaryan seems to be happy about Manchester United's opponents in the group stage of the Champions League
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has taken to social media to issue a rallying cry after Manchester United learnt their Champions League opponents for the group stage.
Jose Mourinho’s men were pitted against Benfica, Basel and CSKA Moscow in Group A after the draw was made in Monaco on Thursday afternoon.
Manchester United will kick off their Champions League campaign when the group stage gets under way next month.
Mkhitaryan helped the Red Devils to book their place in the Champions League thanks to their Europa League triumph last season, with the Armenian scoring Manchester United’s second goal in the final against Ajax in Stockholm back in May.
And the playmaker seems to be excited about the prospect of Manchester United kicking off their Champions League campaign next month.
Mkhitaryan posted the picture above of the Champions League group on Instagram and wrote the caption: “Let’s do this 🔴⚫️💪🏼 @uefachampionsleague #ucldraw @manchesterunited #mufc”
The midfielder will be hoping to feature for Manchester United when the Red Devils take on Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
Manchester United, who finished sixth last term, have made a flying start to the new Premier League season, after having wrapped up impressive victories over West Ham United and Swansea City, both by a scoreline of 4-0.
