Liverpool could be set to sign Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich this summer, according to reports
Liverpool could be set to make a move to sign Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich if Philippe Coutinho leaves the club this summer, according to reports in Germany.
German newspaper Sportbild, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is claiming that the Reds could make a move to sign the highly-rated 19-year-old should Coutinho leave Anfield this summer.
Coutinho has been touted as a possible transfer target for Barcelona this summer and it remains to be seen whether he will stay at Anfield beyond the transfer window.
The same article claims that Liverpool will turn towards signing Sanches from Bayern Munich if Coutinho does indeed complete a switch to Barcelona this summer.
The story goes on to reveal that Jurgen Klopp would only be interested in signing Sanches on a permanent contract and has no interest in a loan deal.
The article also suggests that both Chelsea and AC Milan are interested in signing Sanches this summer.
Liverpool are inevitably being linked with a host of players this summer as Klopp prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next term.
However, the Reds have only signed Dominic Solanke, Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson so far this summer.
