Jurgen Klopp replies when asked who Liverpool will sign before deadline day
Jurgen Klopp discusses Liverpool's remaining transfer plans in the summer window
Jurgen Klopp has hinted that Liverpool could be set to make some more signings before the close of the summer transfer window at the end of the month.
The Reds have been linked with a host of different players this summer but have so far only concluded deals for three new stars.
Liverpool have signed Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Dominic Solanke so far as Klopp looks to build a team capable of challenging for silverware on four fronts this season.
However, the Reds are still being linked with a number of new stars this summer as Klopp prepares his team for his second full campaign in charge at Anfield.
But Klopp was not in the mood to give much away when quizzed about his remaining plans for the summer window ahead of Saturday’s game with Crystal Palace.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference at Melwood, Klopp said: “Unfortunately my English is not good enough to give 500 different answers to the same question.
“But if the transfer window had ended yesterday we already have a team I like. The transfer window is a very important time, but it’s also important what we do with the actual team.
“A few things on both sides [incoming and outgoing can still happen]. Everything leads to August 31. It’ll be a busy day, I don’t know if we will be involved.”
Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League table last season as Klopp steered the Reds to Champions League qualification.
The Reds have been linked with a number of players this summer, including RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, despite the German club’s insistence that he is not for sale.
