Jurgen Klopp replies when asked if Liverpool FC will make signings before deadline
Jurgen Klopp delivers the latest update on his transfer plans at Liverpool FC
Jurgen Klopp remained coy when asked whether Liverpool could be set to sign any new players before the transfer window closes on Thursday night.
The Reds have been linked with a whole host of players during the summer but have so far only managed to conclude deals to land Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke and Andy Robertson.
It remains to be seen whether the Merseyside outfit will be able to bring in any new players before the transfer window closes on Thursday night.
There has also been a suggestion that striker Divock Origi could be shipped out on loan for the season before the transfer window closes this week.
However, Klopp chose to keep his cards close to his chest when quizzed about his remaining transfer plans after Liverpool’s 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
Asked about his transfer plans, Klopp is quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo: “We will see.
“That’s not something to talk about here. If players come in, I think it makes sense to think about what we do on the other side. They’re obviously involved in this (the players). I’m not sure, we will see, you have to wait.
“No games now so I hope you can enjoy the next five or six days with all the rumours and all that stuff. I’m not looking forward to it but it’s part of the game eh?”
Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League table after a strong start to the new season under Klopp.
The Reds will now turn their attentions towards getting ready for their next Premier League game – a trip to The Etihad to take on Manchester City on Saturday 9 September after the international break.
