Liverpool, Man United won’t tempt 18-year-old with potential offer until 2018 – report
Liverpool and Manchester United won't be able to tempt 18-year-old to consider move until after World Cup, according to reports
Christian Pulisic won’t think about leaving Borussia Dortmund until after the 2018 World Cup next summer, according to reports.
ESPN is reporting that the United States international isn’t interested in leaving the Bundesliga outfit ahead of a big season in the Bundesliga for the teenager.
According to the same article, Pulisic doesn’t want to risk missing out on regular first-team football despite the lure of a potential move to the Premier League.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a long-term admirer of the American star after the teenager moved to Borussia Dortmund during the German coach’s spell in charge.
Pulisic has been touted as a potential replacement for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho, who is being linked with a switch to La Liga giants Barcelona.
Manchester United have also emerged as suitors for the Borussia Dortmund starlet in recent days following a report that revealed Jose Mourinho is a big admirer of the attacker.
Pulisic scored three times and made six assists in 29 appearances in the Bundesliga last term.
The Dortmund starlet has Champions League experience under his belt having netted one goal and made two assists in 10 appearances in Europe’s premier club competition.
Liverpool and Manchester United have both signed three players in the summer transfer window so far.
