Liverpool keeping tabs on 24-year-old Brazilian wanted by two rival clubs – report
Liverpool are facing competition from Fenerbahce and Sampdoria to sign Brazilian forward Luan this summer, according to reports in England
Liverpool have been named as one of three clubs interested in signing Gremo forward Luan, according to reports in England.
Foot Mercato, as quoted by talkSPORT, is reporting that Liverpool are facing competition from Italian club Sampdoria and Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The same story states that no suitors have matched Gremo’s valuation of Luan but the Brazilian forward is free to leave for the right price.
According to the article, Fenerbahce are hoping to steal a march on their rivals and sign Luan ahead of Liverpool and Sampdoria.
Luan has scored 53 goals in 182 appearances in all competitions to attract interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.
The 24-year-old has earned one Brazil cap so far after making a substitute appearance in a 1-0 win against Colombia in 2016.
Liverpool are facing transfer speculation around their own Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho amid reported interest from La Liga giants Barcelona.
The Reds have signed Egypt international Mohamed Salah in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma.
The Merseyside outfit have also signed Chelsea teenager Dominic Solanke and Hull City defender Andy Robertson to improve their squad ahead of a return to the Champions League.
