Chelsea are currently preparing to kick off their Premier League title defence after they won the trophy in style under Antonio Conte last season, notching up a record 30 victories in the process.
Manchester United, meanwhile, are desperately looking to improve their Premier League form after they slumped to a disappointing sixth-placed finish in Jose Mourinho’s first campaign in charge.
And former Manchester United defender Neville is tipping the Red Devils to lift the trophy next May, with Manchester City second, Chelsea third and Arsenal fourth.
Neville is quoted as saying by the Daily Express: “Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal [will make up the top four].
“The two Manchester clubs will fight it out for the league, but Jose Mourinho’s track record of winning titles in his second season and the buys they’ve made this summer mean I am going for United.”
Manchester United will kick off their Premier League season with a home clash against West Ham United at Old Trafford on the opening weekend of the campaign.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are currently preparing to take on Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday afternoon as they look to gain revenge over the Gunners following their FA Cup final defeat back in May.
The west London side and the Red Devils are also both preparing for returns to the Champions League next season.
