Man United could move to sign 18-year-old linked with Liverpool – report
Manchester United could be set to rival Liverpool in the race to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund, say reports
Manchester United could be set to make a move to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to bring in at least one more player this summer as he gets his team ready for his second season in charge at the club.
The same report says that Manchester United could make a move to sign the 18-year-old Pulisic from Dortmund to avoid having to battle with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur next summer.
Pulisic is widely regarded as one of the Bundesliga’s top young attacking talents and he has been touted as a possible target for Liverpool in recent months.
Now, however, it is being claimed that Manchester United could be set to steal a march on Liverpool by trying to sign him this summer.
Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to sign a fourth player this summer after already having brought Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku to the club.
But it remains to be seen whether they will be able to tie up a deal for Pulisic before the close of the transfer window.
Manchester United take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
