Man United ready £90m bid to make 28-year-old their fourth summer signing – report
Manchester United are preparing to make a big-money move to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid, say reports
Manchester United are poised to make a £90m bid to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Star is claiming that the Red Devils are set to make a huge offer to try and bring the Wales international to Old Trafford before the close of the summer transfer window.
The same report claims that Manchester United have been put “on alert” after Real Madrid suggested that they could be ready to sell Bale to help fund a move to sign Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe.
The story says that Manchester United are still on the lookout for a new wide player this summer after having failed to land winger Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.
The Red Devils are said to have a long-standing interest in signing the former Tottenham Hotspur winger but they will only make a move if it becomes clear he’s up for sale.
The story suggests that Manchester United will make a move for Bale if Real Madrid make him available should they sign Mbappe from Monaco.
Manchester United have signed three players so far this summer after having tied up deals for Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic ahead of next season.
